Nothing But 'Stache

There is, in my opinion, nothing attractive about a completely smooth man. Men are meant to have hair on their arms, chests and legs. Back hair, granted, is an aberration. I now have none of that hair – second impression is that it is really cold to not have that layer of  fur.

I’m just back from getting all the relevant areas of my body waxed. Let me tell you. Woo boy, getting waxed is no joke. Some parts are so painful that I almost enjoyed the less painful parts. Then I went drinking at the bonus mustache checkpoint, so forgive me if this is short. I’ll update the full story soon..

Caroline: Hey Calvin, have seen how strange your Dad’s head is? Have a look.

Calvin: No…what? (he sees the bald head and freezes)

Caroline: Go on – touch it

Calvin: Wow. That’s really…ugly.

Calvin: Why is that so…ugly?

Caroline: Calvin, sometimes, your Dad just does stuff. And it’s best not to ask why.

Today I am a bald man with a mustache. I’d previously wondered what kind of man is bald with a mustache, and I can now confirm that I don’t look much like a wrestler or Djimon Honsou.

And in fact there is a type of man who is bald with a mustache that I do look like. Chemistry teachers who make crystal meth.

Yep. Bald, freckles, ginger mustache. A younger Walter White, I’ll give you, but I think I just found my Halloween costume for 2030.

Tomorrow I get waxed. So far I think it will be Legs, Arms and Back.

Of hair out of my face and, of course, in fundraising efforts. At time of writing, my total funds raised is poised to tip over the level where I have to get my head shaved AND my legs waxed. But I think we can do better than that.

I’m booking in appointments at a salon and a barbershop tomorrow to get the necessary hair removed. But how much? Pledge now and make it as much as possible!
